Yea I'd like to come out and see you guys also. I'm somewhat in the forming stages of a band right now.

This for me too. I wouldn't classify what I'm doing as a "band" quite yet....getting there! I have some friends that play around town a lot though. Murder Happens, Shame Club, Tilts.

Everyone (from St.L at least) hear that Andrew from Tilts/Riddle of Steel joined Torche?!?! They'll be in St. Louis tomorrow, fuckin' psyched to see the new lineup!

Seriously though, we're going to recall that bastard.

I wish you would,...I hate strongly dislike that fucker.

A lot of people are angry about what happened. They feel like a bunch of politicians ignored them and did what was better for business interests. Interests that aren't necessarily from our state, pollute our environment, and hate workers rights.

We're currently in election season for the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices, which should help with changing things.

There's recalls in the works for GOP senators. These recalls take time, however. The politician must have been in office for at least one year, to start. There's a period of time under which you need to get enough signatures to even allow a recall to come to a vote, as far as I understand it. Even after they are recalled, the politician gets to "run for office" in a special election against his or her competitors.

Lots of people out on sidewalks now trying to get those signatures; when my job situation settles down I may go volunteer myself. The Governor's recall with take some time; he just got elected.

Edit: The other compounding problem here is that there's this group of Tea Party crazies out of Utah trying to recall the Democrat Senators who fled the state. They're not even from Wisconsin! :picard:

OK, I'll cut out the politics-in-a-pedal-thread.

SO CLOSE! it's a Year4545 v.2. Brian's a cute little guy. i have to blur that when i post it on TalkBass.

that. thing. KILLS.

you know what? it doesn't kill. it maims. it rips the leg off of the patriarch of the family and makes it watch while it has it's way with the young, but of legal age, daughter. and she LIKES it.

gooooooooZUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuu!!!

urm..... i have all the noisey stuff aside on an add-on board i've been lagging on putting together. stoopid busy lately. that's where the Chicky and Udder are.

i have a bass wah that someone gave me..... not sure if i dig it. it's kinda neat that it doesn't have a click on/click off (it's the white one? the Dunlop one?), but it does this annoying jump that's not super natural when you move from heel to anything when it first comes on. kinnnnnnnnnda like it?
