Could have flipped that for a bit of extra money.

I think that amp is a noisy ripoff of a soldano/marshall superlead anyway. I wouldnt pay more than 300 for it. A lot of them are breaking after 30 years.

My brother had one, it broke and an amp tech couldn't fix it. He sold it on eBay for parts for much less than he bought it for. It has turned me off to the 5150. Not that it had a tone I was after..

I know someone who paid 1000 and it sounds like a guy riding a dirt bike as soon as you turn it on. No one could fix it either cause it wouldnt do it on the amp tech bench.

There was a Tortuga Effects Yeti Fuzz-Stortion in a shop for $99, they retail for $270. I'd never heard of it at the time & couldn't afford it. Now it is gone.

Passed up on a full maple Les Paul copy on Ebay a couple of days ago. It looked so extremely sweet. I would have loved to try it. But I thought that it might be a good idea to save some money BEFORE buying shit instead of spending my last and then getting problems paying my bills. The wife dislikes that kind of behaviour. So this baby went for less than 250 € and it was not me who got it. But whatever. Since seeing Elwoods thread with his closet I will simply dedicate the rest of my life to hoarding guitars. And one day something along the lines of this will be part of my collection.

The "should've bought it" scenario plays out for me every time I look at B/S/T.

Seriously.

I was about to pull the trigger on that cheap DL4 but in the end I don't really need a delay. Well, more like I only have $175 and my paychecks suck.

A sovtek mig 100. Someone I knew was selling it for $200 bucks, but our work schedules were totally opposite and after a day or two he sold it to someone else. I don't know if I hate him or myself more for that one.

It's the maple neck that attracted me. And those are not so common. But I'm sure I will find one when I have more funds. Or something else equally awesome. It's never been much trouble for me to spend my money.
