I know your pain. I work a full shift now and at night I come home and work on another client's work all night. I had planned to put in a few hours a week on it for the course of a 6 month project. Instead they sat on it for 5 months and then delivered me what I needed two weeks before the big deadline. So I'm working 40 hours a week at one job and 60 hours a week on the client's project, nights and weekends. Oh well, it pays..

Seriously.

Also I am moved to almost uncontrollable levels of rage by people that shake their heads at everything. I havent really noticed it much outside of the south though. It almost makes me sick and violent at the same time.

I just had some garlic bread pizza and am going to sleep soon, but I don't want to get up and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Oh, fuck I'll just do it.

$50 an hour for vanilla stuff, $75 if you want to get rough. $1,000 for a whole night, but no kissing and no cuddling when we're through. Take it or leave it.

Oh, and the safe word is "pickle pie." Forget it at your own peril.

I had a client recently ask me to change what the people are saying in the audio they gave me. They don't want to re-record. So now I'm trying to somehow change all the narration using bits and pieces of other sentences, and words grabbed wherever I can find them. Did I mention that the woman speaking in the audio has the habit of concatenating words and dropping sounds? "And ask" she says as "Anask" and etc. Can you imagine trying to make anything useful out of garbage audio like that?

i stretched one of my ears up to 6g, no pain as usual etc, but the other one hasn't stretched yet so i'm just leaving it. it's my jank ear pretty much, i always stretch the other one like a week before that one budges. the one that's newly stretched has an amethyst single flare plug in it and it doesn't hurt, but it's mad swollen and kinda warm for no fucking reason. i even did the whole massage and salt soak deal. what gives, earlobe? :idk:

That's a pretty general sign of infection. I assume, since you've gotten this far, that you are washing them regularly and refraining from touching them?
I'm at 4g myself, getting ready to go to 2g. I always wash my gauges with Softsoap Brand soap, un-scented, no lotion or aloe or anything. Also, the regular sea-salt soaks help the healing and keep it clean.

I'm sure you've heard all this before, I'm just bored.

yeah, i don't touch them or spin 'em or anything and i wash them every time i wash my face. although with all my piercings i've generally not done anything in terms of care and they've done really well. i've been the most picky about stretching my ears. i did take some ibuprofen and the swelling went down a lot. there's no blood or anything so i don't think i ripped it/had a blow out, and i don't think it's infected since there's no open wound. :idk: i sized up the other ear and that one's actually a lot less irritating. so i think i just slept on it weird and it rubbing against the fabric irritated it or something. wait, actually i used acrylic tapers for this stretch and i've only been using metal jewelry and tapers until now. i know that's not good, but since i'm not wearing acrylic jewelry i didn't think it would matter too much. i guess my body hates plastic, actually  i'm gonna keep an eye on it... i would be really pissed if i had to lose this stretch, lol. although not quite as pissed as if i had to lose my ear.

it's cool, i don't mind advice : D

I was done stretching my ears years ago (00g,....I did my last stretch in 2002 and have stayed at this gauge). I still get issues. My tighter ear got a little itchy and buttery cause I kind of abused the Chechen wood plugs I got from Omerica. The grain in the wood started to seperate and they became impossible to clean. Had to switch to some SS flesh tunnels. I need to order another pair Omerica,...they do good work and I like natural jewelry as opposed to SS,...Acrylic is last on my list,...but if you are still stretching I see no reason not to use it.

Also you'll find that heavier captive rings and curved barbells will hang on your ears and stretch out faster. Those types of jewelry have seemingly fallen out of favor.

These days,...I'm kinda meh on piercings. I've had my ears, septum, tongue and Labrea,...the only ones I still have in is my ears.

I'm more into tats,....I think the next one I get will be a stylized soldering iron.

No ear is the ultimate gauge. You're a pussy if you have anything else.

I hate it when people opt to pay for gas with cash inside, but they stop it at 20.03 when they mean to stop it at 20.00 and expect me to take .03 from the MS charity jar to pay for their gas. If you want to pay exactly a certain amount, just prepay inside. It's not any more effort on your part.
