1. Thanks a lot, we are working on a new album now...might be even heavier....definitely more Riffs

2. I love my Moogerfooger board...I updated it actually.

I added in the 12 stage phaser....so that bring the total Moog count up to 6. (the Murf and CP-251 are hidden under the board with a custom fuzz pedal)

I can do everything with it...it's perfect....for now.

I just picked up Hippie Killer. I noticed that the Heroin CD isn't for sale, are you guys planning on re-rereleasing that one at some point?

As I said before, pure sex. What I've always wanted to try would be some sort of pitch shifter or harmonizer in the loop of the delay. I think that would sound awesome as it runs away

Heroin is gone...we did the original run "Heroin Kit" which sold out within a day, then we did a 50 cd run of just the music and a little insert which is also sold out now. There were talks of doing a VHS version of it...but we haven't really put that into any form of motion. However I do know that a lot of internet blog's have our music up for download...same with our first album The Great Barrier Reefer...and I think Meat Ditch (all out of print) Hippie Killer and Hate Ashbury are the only two that are still currently available.

Unfortunately I do not own any pitch shifters...but I could imagine it being pretty cool. I got my Murf in the loop currently and it is ambient spacey bubbly perfection.

Pretty much my pedal collection. Guitar pedals/off the board pedals on top.

This is what that silver pedal is ;)

Solasound MKII Tonebender with a tone knob that takes ALL the bass away but can also boost the bass as well. No unintentional tone-loss there :haha:

Wow, that's some setup! I'm envious!

What's the Boss drum machine like? Been thinking of getting a cheapish drum machine to put through my Hyperion. Is it simple to progam?

I hate to program drum machines, this one has drum and bass. I am just too lazy/busy to spend the time needed to do something proper with it. I have a Korg AX3000G that want to run it through. I know someone who does amazing sh_t with drum machines! http://www.myspace.com/mattdavignon. I got this one unused for 50.00 and use it mostly for practice with simple beats so far.

peace out,

EH

Thanks for the info. I've only really had experience of software drum machines but I want something super simple that I can program live (as opposed to step sequencing) and then just mess with the sound using effects. Thinking of either a Boss one or the Alesis SR-16.

I had an sr 16! You won't go wrong with it. Very easy to program. I think the Boss won't be difficult either once I just sit down a figure out the basics.
Just a learning curve issue on my part. Also I'm getting older and those little lcd screens kill me. I wish I could plug it in to my computer.
Thanks for the inspiration. I am getting out my manual now. Time to get off my a__. LOL

I forgot to mention that both machines can be played in realtime on the pads. Thats my fav way to record parts. Just quantize down and tap in for a more "human feel.
