For bass:

Anyone go lighter on bass pick preference? I love these on bass. They get destroyed about 3 songs into a set, but whatever.

I'm on red Jazz III, either the original or the EJ, though I frankly don't really notice a difference. Either way, they just work for me on guitar and they're the only thing that seems to work for me doing bass.

What's the diff with the black Jazz III other than that I remember losing them a lot more? Any feel/response difference worth speaking of?

Definitely want to try the Ultex Jazz III's. I got some .73 Ultex in standard shape free a while back and really, really liked them. Haven't liked Tortex in a while, but I haven't tried the Jazz III type.

(Didn't there used to be Jazz II or something like that with a rounded tip?)

Murderface has an amazing picking technique! Oh, and I prefer the .88 dunlops, the green ones that have been posted already.

That's not my finger, but you get the idea...

this, 'cept i use all my fingers save the pinky.

i'm getting better with using a pick i guess, but i'd rather use my fingers 80% of the time.

Going between those for everything.

I switch between the 2mm and 3mm versions based purely on their location. Occasionally I use a random 0.7mm pick for light strumming stuff. That's for guitar, bass is fingers only.

Do these feel more like celluloid or nylon or tortex or what?

I think I need to try these, too. I needs that point.
I think. :idk:
I want something just like the medium Dunlop celluloids but with a sharp point. Suggestions?

I would like to try a jazz pick, if they make them with some texture on them so I stop dropping them. The point on my wedgies is sometimes too wide and I get a scraping feeling as I strum.
