New pedal kits at Mammoth

Post by McSpunckle »

I have a love/hate thing with Mammoth, but these kits look pretty good, and they're cheap:

Looks like you can get the enclosures finished and pick your knobs, too. That is -really- cool, IMO.

They have missed a part or two in some of my orders from them but they remedied the situation very readily.

Those kits are a really good deal. I've never dealt with mammoth before, but they seem to have a decent selection of parts and very competitive prices. What don't you like about them?

I got some knobs from them that were realllly awful. Great price, but the holes weren't even centered on a lot of them.

They also ship parts without the hardware attached. It makes it easy to lose nuts and washers-- especially on toggles that have 4 pieces of hardware. I've gotten parts that didn't have any hardware too (that I could find), but I'm sure they would have fixed that had I asked.

I still use them. I love the industrial 3PDTs, and the prices are great. Especially with enclosures and pots.

None of the DIY places are perfect, though. But I really dig them all and try to buy as much as I can from them.

So far my experiences with Mammoth have been good. Thinking about getting one of these kits.
