Bad news: Amps work fine everywhere except my house

How does this work?

Bad house wiring? :idk:

Nothing in my house is grounded, except the outlet in the garage where the washing machine goes, so right now I've got an extension cord going from there to the living room. Other than the grounding issue, no idea. What kind of wiring issues could make an amp slowly start cutting in and out and then lose power? Because my Marshall did that first, then my solid state Traynor PA head did the same thing. But the Marshall works fine elsewhere, so the Traynor is probably fine too, just not here.

House grounding shouldn't really cause that. It really just serves to shield the enclosure, and it won't even do that for older amps since they ground the chassis through the neutral line. (dunno if newer amps still do that and just add the ground for extra... grounding.

Have you tried plugging in elsewhere in the house? It might just be a loose connection at the socket or in the circuit. So find a plug on a different circuit if you haven't.

I'm gettign a drum set for my house, finally, I've been borrowing a crappy one form a friend for a while now. I'm looking at either a a used Ludwig, used Pearl Export, or a used Tama. So I'm pretty excited about that.

My badn played a show at my school adn we had teh biggest crowd of betweem 60-75, people were standing on tables to see us and this one guy nelt down in front of me to video tap me playing it was awesome, I was told that by many people that we were teh best badn that they saw at teh show, and one guy asked if I was a Cult leader, they way I controlled the crowd. Life is good, and getting better, especially for our first show.

I just sat down for longer than five minutes for the first time today. I have been playing and attending shows for four days straight. And, I didn't pay shit. 35 Conferette has been one of the greatest things I have ever done.

I like when I throw up. It's not that I enjoy the action of puking, but I always feel a hell of a lot better afterward. That's what just happened. Puking my hangover awaaaaaaaaaaaaaay(that last sentence was a song. I wrote it myself)
