In other news... I got to play a RIC 4003 today unplugged, I haven't played a RIC in yearrrrsss and it really put the rest of my through neck fears to rest.. good thing as the neck is in-route This is still one of those hard ones.. to stick to my guns on this being a V.. and not wimping out But I will not wimp out and I will build this thing as I see fit even if it might be silly to most

i dont like that talkbass requires you to pay $20 to become an active member, you cant post classified unless you are. and that membership only lasts a year. i guess i understand then need/want money to keep up with the site, tho im sure them all them advertisements pay for that.

It keeps people serious about wanting to sell. It also its enough of a barrier to entry that it keeps scammers away. It also encourages people to be part of the community and participate rather than to just come on and sell crap. I'm totally fine with it and prefer it. I love Fuzz is still small enough (compared to TB) where they don't have issues related to the classifieds, but any forum where there is a huge amount of people eventually faces the need to charge somehow for the service.

i feel that. i do appreciate that the classifieds there are so active and that alot of great deals come through. if i had money to spare, i would buy a supporting membership.

The best deals I ever got was through TB. The money I've saved is worth the 20 bucks a year.
