It's a kickstarter campaign - a guy raising funds for the initial production kits for creating a line of DIY 3-string guitars for kids. Kind of like a cigar box kit.
And of course, because I'm a total sucker for primitivist instruments, I want one for myself (so I can hook up crazy contact mics and raise an unholy ruckus).
