Vintage Fuzz Master volume question

Post by nieh »

I just got my VFM in the mail and I love it, but even with the volume maxed its just below unity gain. Are all VFMs like this, or is something wrong with mine?

Try it just straight into your amp, because my unity gain is around 9 oclock.

All I can add to this as I don't have a VFM is that I had two cherry pops at the same time for a while and they did not have the same output, one was loud and one was extremely loud. :idk:

Even going straight into the amp I get the same result.

:idk: something is up with that pedal then... I don't know if it is wrong as just not right... Someone in DIY should know how to fix this.

Can't turn my E13 VFM up past like 8 o'clock without destroying everything after it.

Maybe post guts of your vfm? Might be something easy.

I've had a few vfm's and unity was pretty early in the sweep.
