I love the HAO stuff -- it flies under the radar for corksniffery but the stuff I've played -- the Rumble ODS and MOD, and the Rust Driver -- has been really good.
Although he does something weird with the impedance that screws with vintage fuzz.
Good deals done with all these guys

Really, huh... no I don't think I've ever run any of my HAO stuff into the little vintage stuff I have :idk: so I'll take your word for that as you seem to be "Vintage Guy" [cue superhero music]
I did however use this pedal as a buffer for my active bass when I was using The Roar as my main fuzz :thumb: I traded a guy I play with my backup one of these and he uses it for acoustic guitar and mandolin :idk:

I really need to hunt down a RBII one of these days...

Man that really sounds badass on bass...I'll have to add it to the list.

I really enjoy your demo streak thing!

Thanks!
It does sound good on bass, I always forget that... I can't remember what made me buy it in the first place... something to do with using a blending loop and the buffers causing volume drop or something  I think  When used as a OD it falls into the same category as Mellowtone's Hi5 and DE's KP and DBA's Interstellar Overdriver in terms of how it clips and responds to playing attack.

That thing had some pretty serious balls when cranked. I'll definitely have to check out some of the HAO stuff. Also, I like that you're doing consistent guitar demos now along with bass. :joy:

That's a good plan, and, as always, a good demo.

The forum links are a nice touch. When are you going to do a demo for the super bass fuzz?

I could make that happen soon.. I was planning on doing the Singing Tree, Sugar Baby, and maybe a filter... so next time I set up to do a few I'll throw it in. It works better to do the vids in batches and then sort though them later then doing them on off like the guitar stuff has been...

Has anyone tried the Rust Ride? Supposed to be the bass version of the Rust Driver, I believe. Been close to snagging one a couple of times, but it never worked out.
