ok so the two nights ago i got rear ended, it wasnt too bad but my cars got a really nice dent in it.
now here the weird thing, im in pain. like for reals, i mean i didnt go to work today because my backs killing me.
it wasnt this bad yesterday, and definitely not when it originally happened
ok? so far so good
now the trippy thing is that a few months back i was in another accident, a head on collision where my car was absolutely totaled
i mean when the firemen got there they had to spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to pry open the hood to check on the innards.
on that one i was a little sore the next day, but nothing like this. with that one i was up and around the next day, not 100% but infinitely better than i feel right now.
any ideas?

Giggidy.
...sorry.
Go to a doctor, if you can. It may just work itself out. I've seen that happen to other people before...
It's something that gets misaligned or something.

Yep, totally.
When you get hit from behind, your neck and back hyper-extend backwards before moving forwards, like a whip. This is not a normal position for your spine to be in, and doesn't occur when you hit things head on, causing muscle straining and potential soft tissue damage. Your spine really doesn't like it. It can be like your spine has been over-exercised, but in the wrong direction, so causing pain. Wearing a seat belt does not prevent this either. The pain usually maximises between days 3-5, dependent on how severe it is, before reducing. I'd recommend anti-inflammatory medication to minimise any damage to muscles, ligaments and tendons, but do get yourself checked over first.
Welcome to the world of whiplash. I'd get myself checked over medically to be honest, as you may get compensation for the pain and potential longer term damage from the other person's insurance, but you'll need a medical examination for this.

I got hit from behind this year. I had some minor back pain...I didn't go to a doctor because the pain was very slight.
At the mere mention of pain to the other person's insurance company, they were throwing cash at me.
I wasn't even driving and it wasn't my car. They cut me a check just to go away.
If you have considerable pain, go to a doctor for sure!!! But either way, you're in for a pay day...which, if you're in stay-home-from-work kind of pain, you deserve. Not to mention compensation for missing work.

Aye a little fender bender can sometimes cause major injuries on the back...I'd get it checked out. Hope you got their info, their insurance will toss wads of cash at you

Go to the doctor.
Back in 89, I missed the last rung of a ladder and landed on my butt.
no pain at all for a week, then I couldn't move.
Had a hairline fracture in a lower lumbar.
Did get to zombie out on pain pills and mussel relaxers for a while.
