Drill Bit Size Conversion Chart

Post by Steve Mavronis »

Hey, I was looking for a conversion chart to determine the proper drill bit size # for hole size needed and found this handy chart:

Machinist Drill Sizes, ANSI Drill Sizes, ISO Metric Drill Sizes
http://www.engineersedge.com/drill_sizes.htm

It has been a while and I couldn't remember the bit sizes I had used last time. Maybe this will be helpful to others as well.

Woah.

I just use digital calipers to measure things when I don't know what size to drill.
