I have the Carl Martin Powerjack it deliver 1670 mA (lots of juice) for 40$ new.

Does thing like DC-Brick, Pedal Power 2 Plus and Fuelthank really worth it?

I need more/different length patch cables to lay this out the way I want, but signal will be CM2 -> Aenima -> Dark Boost -> Hoof -> Montavillian.
DD20 and Flanger will be thrown in the middle somewhere, not sure as to where yet.

A couple minor changes to my covers band board, probably still a couple more changes to come as soon as the tax return comes in:

Favorite univibe I've played so far. But it's not the closest to the original. It's more resonant, more phaser-y and more prominent than the classic univibe. Which is what I wanted anyway. And it was cool enough to knock my phaser off the board.

DC Brick doesn't have isolated outs, basically a daisy chain in a box. I had a ton of noise from it in my setup due to that. Awesome it works well for you though, can't beat a $40 power supply! I never had luck with a OneSpot either but I know many who do, all depends I guess.

In the videos I've seen, other than just adding a nice phasey sweep, it seems to color the frequency response of the signal, even during the 'idle' phases of the sweep...sort of makes it smoother and reduces some treble..would this be a fair statement?

huh. you are CORRECT suh. 'pears i was talking out my ass. odd too, looks like the 1spot puts out 1700 mA while the Brick does just 1000 mA. i do like the 3 higher voltage outputs. weird tho. i had a problem with 5 pedals on a 1spot that was fixed by moving them to the Brick.

maybe it's just the power of belief! yay scientigy!!! maybe i'll get to fuck Tommy Cruise now?

i can haz midget actor sex?

haha midget actor secks....

BC,...Nice board!!!,...how do you like the Philosopher's Tone? I use a pic of it as an album cover in my iTunes for a (DC or Baltimore can't remember which) band called Compression.

Yeah,...no iso's on the DC Brick or else I'd be all over it. Isolated outputs seems to come at a cost.

It definitely does have significant coloration of the tone, but I wouldn't call it smoother. On the contrary, I find it to be much more resonant and notchy (maybe even harsher) than the other univibes I've played. But that's why I like it.

I like the Philosopher's Tone a lot. I went through quite a few compressors before going with this one. It's a bit of a sledgehammer, that sustain knob can get real squishy, real fast. That's why the blend knob helps. But it can give you disgusting amounts of sustain, which is all I really cared about.
