Oh, they want you to hate it. They love that you hate it. They will love it when it sells like hotcakes anyway. (also I heard that record is only coming out in Japan)

This is a band that released 2 albums, exactly the same in every respect (packaging, price, name, release date) EXCEPT THE MUSIC WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I'm convinced they have been fucking with the audience for years. If you can't see boris pointing and laughing all the way from Japan, then you is blind!

I don't really care for when bands try this dumb gimmicky bullshit (oh my are they serious or not?!?!)...... I buy records that sound good, and I won't be buying this crap........ and I didn't buy Smile either, or that one where they got together with the guy from The Cult (seriously wtf)....... I might check out this Heavy Rocks 2 thing I heard about but honestly, they can try this esoteric bullshit as much as they want and try to seem like they're working on "multiple levels" or whatever but in the end these are fucking marketing gimmicks the same with the limited records....... if it'll help them make a living off something they love more power to them but I think in the end people's attention span (tolerance?) for this sort of thing is pretty low........ in ten years they're going to be remembered as "that Japanese band with a hot singer who pulled a lot of marketing bullshit with limited records" rather than a great power trio......

Expecting a band named after a MELVINS song to be predictable is silly.
All their best records they keep in print and get an international release anyway... (except you Heavy Rocks, but you are still my favourite)

Im sure my wife is sick of hearimg me talk about it, so Im posting here. I'm listening to the records they sent me.
Vein (Noise version) is pretty fucking intense. Really REALLY noisy drone stuff, probably wont listen to it very often.
Vein (HArdcore version) Is totally fucking evil. I WILL listen to this when I has the RED STATE.
Statement 45 single is cool, but I have it on CD/Digital. The B-side, FLOOR SHAKER is fucking immense. I want to hear it 500 times.
The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked 3 has a really cool long mellow intro, and quite nice heavy drone/doom all over side A. Havent heard side B of it yet.
