Would it be wrong for me to re-wrap a Frazz Dazzler with a finish that I don't care much for?

I mean, I got the thing for $95 shipped, so it was a good score...but I'm not ecstatic about the black and white.

SO, if You're not into knitting, off You go then, to the buy/sell/trade. That's preferably the ILF B/S/T, if You don't mind. See what happens, bump every now and then. Or sell it, stash the money, buy one with a preferred finish

Or, if You insist, toss it in the baking oven (one You have at hand AND NEVER used to anything else, consider Yourself being officially warned) and lo and behold: very... original and exciting, apocalyptic end result smells funny. By funny I mean awful, like Jesus-Raptor. Besides, ruining the original fancy finish will likely leave You with a boring finish and a considerable resell price drop.

Or... You can also do what I've seen done to two rainbow finish Frazzes: paint strippers. Supposed to be my favorite pastime. In this case, however, I'd got no heart to enjoy a finish peeling recreational activities if I were You. Not if it ruins the fancy finish (see above). Besides, some argue it's a matter of taste, whether you paint, strip or drink it up. So I say You first try trades, and who knows, perhaps You'll find Yourself with a nice Frazz. And THEN learn to love the quality time for the acquired taste.
