Fix'd Fuzz Ver. 2 vs. Ver. 3

Post by dren68 »

Does anyone know exactly what the difference is between version 2 and 3 of the Fix'd Fuzz? Any info would be great. Thanks!

Back up in your ass with the resurrection.

This I wonder as well.

Jero has mentioned in a thread that "one of them has more bass", but I'm not sure where he read that.

Probably gonna get one of these... but I see a new V.2 on eBay from a dealer, and I'm assuming what you'd normally get now with a new one would be V.3.

Yea, I don't know. The person I got mine from said they thought v1's had more bass, but I have no idea if that's true. I have only used this one, and it does hold up nicely there...no idea if later ver. would be any diff.

On the BE FAQ on the site, it has the PDF manuals for each version.

Looks like V.1 only has a trimpot for Fuz:1, V.2 has trim pots for Fuz:1 & 2, and V.3 perhaps has a wider sweep in its trim pots? Not sure.
