They're rad! My friend has one, and uses it with his JCM900 with great results. One thing is, the old speakers often can't handle too much bass.

Awesome,
I had the 2x12 for a long time, eventually need a re-wire but sound great.
Think mine was probably a bass cab at some point crazy deep.

Cheap you say? Pop up all the time you say? I'm in the wrong area. They are great cabs. I used to have a 2x12, can't remember the exact model, but it was the best 2x12 ever. Most of the speakers were alnicos in my experience...and I believe the earlier models will be more consistent with this.

i can only speak for the quality of their guitars, but seeing as they got popular based on their amps, they've gotta be pretty bitchin

They pop up so cheap around here all the time. I'd have a stack or two if I had two hundred dollars all the time.

I wish they popped up often and cheap by me. I have a Univox amp I would love to match a cab with. Or even better get one of the blue cabs with circular cutouts on the front.

I have an old 2x12 I got 40 $30.00 had a Celestian side winder and a Peavey black widow in it, I replaced the Peavey with an EVM.
It also had been converted with a Marshal stereo 8 ohm/ mono 4/16 ohm switch plate.
Sounds killer with guitar or bass.
