By that principal Sigur Ros is probably the universally greatest band ever. They made up their own language to sing in, and when they're not singing that, it's Icelandic. Who the hell speaks Icelandic? Icelandics, Icelanders, Icelandians?

I find it really easy to tune out lyrics. In fact, I often have to try really hard to listen to them. They're just not very important to me at all.

That hopelandish shit makes me think of this:

I like lyrics. They can sometimes ruin a song, but somehow I manage to only listen to the lyrics when they're good. It's a reason not to like many bands that sing in german though. But most of the german bands sing the most pretentious shit. Which I usually like cause i have a degree in literature and am so blasé!

Back on topic: I have the feeling I never truly appreciated porn until I ran into this site. Thanks guys.

i love Sigur Ros. of course.

i like lyrics...it's just that 95% of them are shit. i'm so tired of hearing a great intro, and then four lines of the first verse and "holy Christ, that's awful..." :whoa:

As a bassist, one of my favorite things to do is play Cake's Comfort Eagle front to back.

I dislike the recent trend of using washed-out pictures that look like home movie stills as album covers.

Oh, wow, only now I noticed that my second post was bound to be misunderstood. What i mean is she found out that her idea of leaving me was a big mistake. And that she's sorry for raising it in the first place. So, yes, everything is OK. While I was kneedeep in the shit yesterday now everything is fine and I can write it off as a hysterical attack. And of course talk through the issues she has raised when we are both a little less on edge.

For now she is gone to visit a friend. It was meant to be an exile for meditating on the future of our marriage but will just be fun for her now. And for me, because now I can trash the house with loud fuzz without any family members complaining. (My daughter's at my mother in law's.)
