Ah, but now we're getting into subjective territory here! While I would agree that Going Blank Again is a better-performed album (and "Leave Them All Behind" would be in my top 5 songs list), Nowhere was my first Ride album, and its impact on my young brain can't be underestimated. Hearing "Seagull" for the first time was like hearing Hendrix's promise of a "sonic church" come true for me (sounds overdramatic, I admit, but again - I heard the album at age 16, which was a pretty overdramatic time for me). To me, Nowhere is, and always will be, one of the crucial turning points in my listening history. If I was ranking my top 5 albums for real, it would probably be disc #1.
So there ya go - more information that you probably wanted!

yea man!! That album reaks of cool riffs, loud guitars, and soft vocals. Classic shoegazer from the early 90's. I can't say enough good things. I'd say one of the more underrated quality shoegazer bands.
