They rule so hard. My band occasionally covers this one live:

FUCK YES.

I've seen Burma about four times since their reunion (including one of the reunion shows in Boston), and they fucking kill it. Every time I've seen them, they've had a younger band or two open, and every time they wipe the floor of the venue with those bands. I've had a chance to chat briefly with both Clint and Roger, and they're both amazingly nice and low-key in person. Man, I hope they tour again soon.

i love Burma so much that i flew from San Francisco to New York for the first official reunion show. ironically, at the end of the first set, the guy next to me and i started raving to each other about how great it was and it turned out the other dude was (David? Richard?) Van, Burma's semi-official archivist. my God, was i happy...i totally missed Burma when they were happening, and never thought i'd be able to see them live. and there they were, playing fucking "Peking Spring." some months later i met Clint in the upstairs bar at the Fillmore in San Francisco, and he was absolutely delightful, as nice a person as you could possibly expect someone to be while wearing leather pants.

Saw 'em with my friend's band a year ago. Not really impressed. Trem Two is pretty tight, but they just don't do it for me. However the guitarist had two giant boxes with giant knobs and I geeked out on that. Trem and Fuzz his friend built.

One of my favorite bands! not really a fan of their latest album but everything before I love.
Never seen them live, because they haven't been to europe in a long long time.
