Yes and no. Taxes [and borrowing ] pay for a lot of what a government does weather or not the sheep are for it, know about it, care about it or are against it; and most [yes I know] things that involve money are taxed there for support is given if only in monetary way no matter what. I have gone to protests... yet I have to pay taxes and therefore am supporting the behavior I hate... As for as I see it about the Middle east a big part of it is that since the 11th [?] century the "west" has been fucking with them in one way or another. It took few generations of unwashed cannibalistic [at times] Christians [although in hindsight they were mostly eating other Christians ] starting shit to get the hate ball rolling... and it just has gone back and forth and back and forth ever since...
