I'm new so I've never seen a DD-3 mod (assuming there are any). Can anyone turn me on to one? What kind of mods are there for it?
Thanks alot!
Nice!

Google Boss DD-3 mod.
The most popular one seems to be a "Hi-Cut" switch. It makes it sound more analogue.

Re: Boss DD-3 Mod?
Just curious: I saw Melt-Banana last year, and the guitarist, Agata (SP?), was working some boss delay to make it loop a note really fast. I can do that w/ my DD-3, but I seem to remember that he created the stuttering effect at a much faster speed (faster than my DD-3 will go), so does anyone know which particular DD-X he uses (I wasn't close enough to see)?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Re: Boss DD-3 Mod?
Steven over at the The Squarewave Parade board maintains that most manufacturers only tune their controls within an "acceptable" range, and that most components can offer far more latitude than are built into commercial releases. It's possible that a simple mod (perhaps even a pot replacement) could allow the DD-3 to have a faster delay time.
But to address the original question, aside from the mod to roll the highs from the echo regeneration, the most common mods I've seen involve simply adding an expression pedal to control either delay speed or delay feedback.

Re: Boss DD-3 Mod?
true. Maybe I just need to poke around in tharr...
Anyway, About the Goatkeeper, I didn't realise he had one (Actually, I had to Google what it was, hah)... But I distinctly remember him holding down the Boss delay for the looped stutter effect.
The way I do it is I plug a jack into the "Direct Out" which cuts out the input signal to only play the delays or whatever is looping while the "Hold" option is on (that is, if you don't have the D. Out signal going to an amplification source).
Say, I should do a mod that makes the Hold option lockable with a toggle! Holding down the footswitch can be cumbersome when trying to manipulate pedals with one's hands... I'd also like to put in a switch that somehow works the same as having a plug in the Direct Out (I never actually used the DO for its intended purpose, and I don't really care for the dangling patch cable idea... and it opens up a space for an exp-in).

I know Keeley can add an effects loop to a DD3.
Anyone have schematics for that?
