I have enough gear to satisfy me for a while. I don't NEED a new guitar or that RRR that looks so yummy or some incredible tremolo. And that jap Jazzmaster that you could afford if you spend everything you can spare will still be here in a few months.

but srsly, thats awesome man, I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to pay for schooling, save up for a move half way across the country and wanting to get a new pc that can run sc2 and wow and decent settings to you my friend I will say this, be responsible but always save a few dollars into a nice account for when that stupid-awesome, might-never-happen-again deal pops up (and it will) you can afford it

Oh, yes, I am pretty much right there with you. My definition of GAS would be the urge to buy something just because though. That means I am pretty much out of GAS since I received all (but one) pedals I bought for both my musical projects. I know I can get the sounds I want now (Well, if I understand the Infanem). The guitar of my dreams is being built but not yet fully paid for. I have several things I want to try but after like a year or so I've finally snapped out of Conhulio-mode and came back to my senses. In the next months I will have to buy a bigger amplifier, because I will play with a drummer again and 15W don't spit loud clean tone. If everything goes wrong I'll just say Fuck it and buy a used Maxwatt though. I tried one of those and it was nice enough. Lacking in lots of ways but I know the time will come when I will own what I dream of. And what that is will probably change on the way to keep things interesting. But I am reassured that my GAS is satiable. And right now it is at rest.
