its not surprising at all that everything is made to the .1 inch hole standard. pin headers and dip sockets all fit

Everything being at .1 is not what surprised me. What surprised me was that the Radio Shack proto board has exactly the right number of holes to *exactly* accommodate the Belton brick. Take another look at the pic.

I should try to breadboard this. I ordered a belton brick months ago and never found the right project for it. I know madbean is supposed to be working on a belton project too with a pre-delay wrapper but this looks nice and simple.

If you get some boards fabbed up I am good for a few. My friends are always bugging me for reverb pedals. I just wish the belton bricks were cheaper.
