i really, really want a shoegazer.


I can't say enough good things about my shoegazer. I have bought a TON of fuzzes over the last few years and the only one I haven't offed is my 'Gazer. I love it...

The original post is funny because...

The guitarist from the band MEDICINE (if you're not familliar, they were a noise-pop band in the mid-90s) literally used a 4-track cassette recorder, pegged in the red, as his distortion when they played on stage. He would turn it upside down, I'm guessing so that people wouldn't see what he was pulling.

Such a great band, especially live. One of my favorite bands ever.
If you like clouds of bordering-on-painful distortion floating on top of melodic swirly pop songs, check em out.
