I still have mine. I bought it in 1985. The neck is a bit concave but i love it
I havent seen another one in ages....
Not sure about the price. I paid about $200 for it...

hahaha, I love my Hondo P. It's a little on the heavy side but not much more than my other basses. The neck is pretty wide but since yours is a J I'm assuming it'll be smaller.
I only NEEDED to change out the crappy rusted bridge. A new nut would probably help too. Excellent beater.
