How is it?

Is it band worthy/loud enough for a band?

I'm glad you're digging it, Jfrey! They're fun little rock n' roll amps, for sure. I always liked running one at lower gain settings with an analog delay going into it. Nice, slightly dirty delays with a bit of grit.

Definitely. I think it's a nice touch, and they look way better than the USPS fragile labels.

They'll hold up with a quiet to medium volume drummer through a 2x12 or 4x12 cab. Probably not with a full band though. Keep in mind, it's a mind-blowing 1/2w, so while it can definitely put our some volume, it's not going to compete much with another guitarist and bassist while keeping up with a drummer.

While I wouldn't recommend gigging it, unless you're doing a small coffee shop type thing (which it would probably be great for, to be honest), I'd imagine it doing ok in a band practice setting at lower volumes.

The Li'l Bastards are discontinued, but there will be a new amp in the same vein in the next few weeks. Still with a 9v option, power supply, etc. Volume-wise, it will be pretty similar to the LB, but will be able to cut through a little more and it will have a bit more versatility. :thumb:

Seriously? Nice. Put one aside for me. I want the first one out. :thumb:

While I have so far been pretty inept at picking up pedal making - my own fault for not putting enough time into it - I realized the other day while I was stripping out my old amp, how easy it would be to make cabs. After all I worked construction for like 6 years, I have all the tools I'd need. I'd like to make some small cabs to go with mini amps like this one. I know my friends in Boston would dig them, so maybe I'll make a batch.

I'm planning on putting some sound clips of the LB up when I can. I want to get a better speaker to demo it through first. Already talked to you about that though. ;)

Will do. I'll update my Shark Tank thread and such when they go up for pre-order. I'll drop you a PM as well.

The cab thing sounds very cool. I've thought of doing it for small amps before as well, but the thought of shipping cabs around the world is terrifying to me.

I guess small enough cabs would still probably fit into USPS Flat Rate boxes though. :idk:

Definitely drop me a message when you get some demos going - I'd love to hear them. Who knows - if enough people start doing demos of Noisemaker Effects stuff, I may even add a User Demos section to the site.
