BAHA i just noticed that the little rails were poking out the side so i slammed the board on the desk and it popped back in and SUCCESS it works now for some odd reason

Ah yes, the age-old method of hitting it until it works! If that didn't do it I was going to tell you to try turning off and then back on again.
