This thing is promising! It's only $120 @ The Mad Ape! I'm trying to inquire about this a little more but I don't know if anyone has played it. I just want to know if the LFO is always on. Anyone know?
Holy shit, for $120 ring mods will be as common as delay.
...orrrr maybe not. It does seem cool but a tap to control the rate of the LFO seems uber necessary to make this useful in most situations. And I'm just guessing but it seems like the LFO is on all the time, which could get a little annoying. I suppose that maybe if it's turned down all the way that it's sort of off.

that dude's playing reminded me of someone holding down a "fast forward" button. and it seems like a sweet pedal. i almost bought a swollen pickle a while back. and now i just entered the dunlop survey on their website where they're giving away 15 green rhino's

Yeah, that video is what I saw...so I'm assuming it's on always. Perhaps if you turn it all the way in a direction it'll be off. That video is so weird. Makes NAMM seem really irritating.

yes, it does... BUT the pedal looks great and it really got me interested
Every ring mod demo I hear I hate but I have been fucking around with the ring mod on my M13 and im loving it at a very low mix. Is it just me or do all of these demos have the mix set WAY to high to be very usable?

Some people (like me & the Mars Volta) enjoy rigmod really loud and it's perfectly usable that way. It's a matter of taste and creativity. Also, when listening to a demo, I'd prefer to have the blend all the way on the effect because I'm not interested in hearing the dudes guitar tone... I'm interested in the pedal. Nawmeen?
