Any help with pickup sourceing

Post by St.Norman »

Hey guys I've been slaving in the warehouse lately. So one day I stand at my station and this kid shows me this book. Inside it has this Vega guitar I have never seen. The guitar was their attempt to battle the new gibson stereo guitars. it has twelve penny-sized pickups that are supposed to be stereo. I don't know how well it worked but it was beautiful. The light in the warehouse didn't seem so harsh and pale after that. So the next day this kid just gives me the book because I also freaked out about this Crazy mosrite custom i've never seen, (I spent at least five years pouring over all the sights I could find on the web)wish I had a scanner. And this make this week in my home town in northern Indiana like ten degree's warmer. So being reminded I am not just a slave by this cat's generosity I remembered I want to build guitars I have like six books that even have pictures=} on how to accomplish this. but right now in this apartment i live in I can't really build yet but I could experiment with winding some badass custom pu's though. This may be aimed expressly at devi and aen For i don't know if anyone else knows where to source magnets. magnet wire and the such. Also I wanted to do my own sort of p 90 but can't find a good diagram and or exploded view or video of what the inside looks like. Anyway the long tale about some one shaking out of this four month hate stupor and reminding me If you build you will be whole. Any good sources that pann out made earn a few free pickups. Especially if some one has a line on some AWG 42-Ga Plain Enamel.

P.S. I want to be a mob mem  ber

Hmm.
Stew mac sells a pickup winder, wire and parts.

Also if you can find one, Jason Lollar wrote a book on pickup winding etc. It's supposed to be the definitive work on the subject.

They pop up on the bay now and then.
