Ok - I have an arctic white Strat. Basically in between olympic white and vintage white. It currently has stark white knobs and pickup covers, as well as a w/b/w pickguard.
I want to change the looks of it. I like the white body, but the bright white pickguard and details look bland on it.
What do you guys suggest for a new pickguard color+knobs/covers/etc? Pics would be much appreciated.
I had an arctic white strat as well, before I parted it out, kept the neck and threw it on a usa custom gutiars body that i painted olympic white. But before I parted it out, it had a red tortoise guard, looked very similar to that white strat/tortoise pickguard pictured above.
But I'm always a fan of the early '60s look - white, mint green guard, rosewood fretboard.
i think white/pastelly colors look best on guitars honestly. especially with a tort pickguard.
but the mint suggestion was awesome, too.
