Quick question. Why are EHX pedals so ugly?

I admire their ingenuity and am super-impressed by their quick rate of new releases. I don't own many but am always interested by what they put out.

But who designs these? And WHY?
:joy: things to do, things to re-do :omg:

I htink it's just that the older EHX pedals looked so aesthetically pleasing and the new ones look so shitty, so you really see the difference...... I guess the old graphic designer must have passed away and they figured they could save a few bucks by paying a drunk wood elf with magic beer.......

To be honest, I figured drunken wood elf + magic beer + pedal designing would be spectacular, but I was mistaken. :idk:

Ugliness aside, I can't wait for demos of this sheeit.

Whats up with that DLX MB?

The new feature is a feature that was already there in the first place, except you can tap somewhere else.

I've done alot of speculating about this... i'm waiting for them to officialy release it though so I have more info to go off.

I think they're gunna retire there XO Deluxe Memory Man though which still uses MN3008 BBDs and switch over entirely to modern production ones.

I'm cool with that, other than them trying to steal all my money, just wish they'd step up there quality control a bit...

They're always useful designs, They are definitley the Effects company of the people, plus alot of it is changing up there Designs to suit there current production like dropping the Big Boxes and changing the designs for modern/available components.

its a deluxe memory MAN, not a boy. Its got the panasonic chips in it and its cleaner than the deluxe memory boy.

That's what I speculated but where did you actually get the confirmation?

There are several reasons why I don't think it is using MN3008 which I assume you mean by Panasonic chip and are used in there XO Memory Man.
