i'm going to get my gf one for her birthday. she loves theremins, and i can't afford to get her a theremin...i looked into the kits, and even they were way out of my range this Christmas.

What about a Electro Faustus Ef-102 Photo LIght eye Theremin? It's not as cute but, it's prety cool.

The special edition gold one is a terrifying singing Fleshlight :erm:

They're on Amazon for $40-50. Last night in a dream I walked into a record store and there was a shelf full of them...they were all singing. It was horrible.

i'm working my way up a little at a time. she's not a musician, but is really intrigued by certain kinds of electronic stuff. when she was in high school they had a donated Optigan which she found fascinating; she says that if she could play and had a band, it would have theremin, Optigan, and Mellotron/Chamberlin. so i'm starting with cute, and building towards real stuff.

Tis only $60, they were $50 when I got mine but that is irrelivant. They're pretty awesome espicially with pedals :!!!:
