Yeah, will check it out later with a new Hiwatt (Mywatt) clon among other stuff :)
Karlsruhe? Puh. Music scene is fucking boring. 25 % are students in the city so a lot of cheap beer locations here ;-)
Lived some time in munich (with a great music scene) but i like it here a lot better.
So worth the trip, yes! Visit the ZKM. It is awesome :joy:

Don't forget to tell us about the Mywatt experience!!!
I remember reading about the amp but never found a good demo.

So, i played it (the mywatt! infanem got only a short run today (with some great sounds)) and it sounds quite good. I have no Hiwatt handy so no possibility to do a comparision.
Short review: built quality is good and sturdy but not really nice imho. The amp can get fucking loud, has a great fast attack and is absolutely direct. With the snowdrift it sounded great and the sound with and in the band was good. I will do a comparision with my london city which is a similar (4xEL34).
hope this helps a bit.

epic combo! :omg:

That is one hell of a pedal that sounds amazing! I wish i had some jungle beats to play along right now. Had a lot of crazy ideas and the built quality is superb :thumb: For me that's the essence of a good piece of gear.

How is the tracking on these? I am tempted to pick one up to compare to my Mini-Ark.

No CV though, right? That is a negative for me.

Tracking is good but depends on your setting and the according range knob. Did you watch the video of Devi? There is one part where the action of the range knob is pretty good demonstrated.
yeah, no CV. But right now i would say they are a little bit differnent and CV is not really needed on the AHS. Sounds to my ears very very good. But yes, for interaction with my other CV stuff it might be handy...
That's why i also want the mini ark

You are getting a mini-ark right?

I have been playing with mine quite a bit the last couple of nights. I think it was a good acquisition though it is a tempermental little beast with a learning curve. I really haven't gotten beyond playing with Magical Setting #1 and getting it to track more effectively.
