LOGAN 5 MORAL OBLIGATION DEMO

Post by theavondon »

[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/eccotone/logan-5-shenanigans-on-thursday-morning[/soundcloud]

Woke up and made a demo after realizing I....don't have any real means of recording. OH WAIT SOUNDCLOUD APP ON AN IPHONE 4. That better be good enough.

My rig was Gibson Grabber->pedalboard->Sunn Coli 880 into a 2X15 (my practice amp).

I started clean, then turned on the ring mod, then eventually added the SM side of my Shoe Gazer, then somewhere I added a dano milkshake chorus for even more chaos.

WHOA! That's pretty sweet. Great sound out of an iPhone recording, too.

Was it Nbamf who built you the Logan 5? Any idea if there will be more forthcoming (like, for sale)?
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

He built me one, for ILF Secret Santa, cuz he's a good guy. So, I'm not sure if he'd announce stuff like that, but I bet money talks, especially in a PM.

So, wait. How did you record the demo if you don't have the pedal?

This makes me want a ring mod even more than I did. When the SM gets kicked on pretty much sealed the deal.

I just read "so pumped to own" as something that was going to happen in the future. Like, "I'm so excited to buy a new car" or whatever.

My bad.

 It's all a matter of delivery, which is something hard to portray in text.
