Family Pedal Photo

Post by one bad monkey »

I was pulling all the serial numbers off my pedals just now (doing the insurance thingy) and figured I'd take a "family photo" for all you fine folk. So, here you go.

3leaf Audio Proton Prototype

It's Spencer's version of the Mutron III from back in the day. It's got that old-school funk thing down, especially if you keep the voltage to it around 12-15v; 9v seems a little too heavy, 18v seems far too thin and almost non-existant.

Seems like you have a nice variety there :thumb:

Hm, never done this before so I was inspired
gross picture though, my basement has such poor lighting sigh
Considering I have 4 more pedals in the mail, its definitely time to hit up the BST/emporium/spam thread

Does having the serial number make it possible to claim them if you're robbed?

What do you think of the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face? I've been looking at getting one for a while now.

Its the jimi hendrix one fyi
But, it basically sounds like a really really good fuzz face. Very thick, cleans up wonderfully, etc.
I don't see the point in spending more on a silicon fuzz face, if only for a smaller enclosure+led+adapter (though the battery lasts FOREVER)

hopefully others join in so I don't feel like I stole this thread from you

YOU STOLE MY CARPET :omg:

Also I put my pedals into fancy new Zebracase thingies today, and I thought "WTF TOO MANY" but I only have 28. Pedals, not cases.

Granted, that's a lot of god damn pedals, but not ridiculous. I don't think. Then again most of my retirement fund is now in fuzz.
