New Solo Bass Piece

This is part of a gigantic piece of music I'm working on to celebrate my daughter, who will be born in March. It's movements 4 (The Untitled One) and 5 (Her Little Hands).

For the tech guys, here's the layout:

Warwick Streamer LX Broadneck (w/GHS Super Steel Contact Core strings) --> DigiTech JamMan Stereo --> Phil Jones Bass Briefcase

Really gorgeous!

Are you planning on recording & releasing the final completed piece? I would certainly purchase a copy...

I hadn't originally thought of it, but it's a definite possibility. I have a lot of other similar tunes (incorporating a looper and other effects) that I could at least cobble together an EP.

That would be very cool. Definitely keep us posted if you do...

I mentioned interest to my wife, and I had an idea.

I'll finish the work (7 movements, 4 of which are done), record it, mix it and then find a way to distribute it digitally. I figure I can put it up for a donation-style payment, and all proceeds go to the daughter. I'm writing the song for her after all.
