I was bored today and decided to play with my trusty Hondo P-copy. I don't have a router so I broke out the wood chisel
I was originally going to put a J pickup in there but decided to use the Hondo's original P pickup. Maybe I'll throw a cover on it or something, I dunno. Anyway I like the way a dual P configuration sounds!
lol, PP.
I think you should put a big humbucker like a MM pickup in there... to um... fill the hole....

I think you're right. I now need an MM pup.
...wonder if the GFS one is any good. I really don't know anything about MM-style. I do like hot pickups though.

That's sweet. I had a blonde Musicmaster in the 90's. I didn't know anything about though. Back then I just played it and didn't really have any curiosity about it.

Aww man, those late 50s early 60 Duo Sonics and Musicmaster in blonde are so strikingly beautiful. In all their 22.5 scale glory.
There's a snake in my boots. Someone poisoned the waterhole!

Oh fuck you you got that of the dude on tgp right? wanted that.
No, I'm selling it on TGP though. I won it on the cheapz on Ebay on a no reserve auction. So I will enjoy it while it's here and not move too much on the price. Will prolly be with me for quite some time, but that's quite alright with me.

if you've ever played a musicman stingray, your pretty much hooked on that pickup. most musicman basses are active I think. but thats just a preamp so you could use the pickup passive as well.

did you order the Maton from overseas?
