Dwarfcraft invents the Internet
Sorry if its late pass (didn't seem to find anything by searching).
for those who have it here, want to tell me more about this? Freaking sounds awesome in the demo. I'm particularly curious about the low gain sounds, it seems really warm and bassy in the vid.

I'm going to be getting extra pay soon and will be moding and picking up a few pedals. Can't decide between this or the algal bloom though

damn, that would be a hard decision. the internet seems to do overdrive a little easier than the AB. though i never really used it for overdrive aside from testing it out with my friend's modded JCM2000
... i still really really really want one

So what circuit is this based on? Kind of reminds me of my Eau Claire Thunder which I know is a modded Russian Muff circuit.

bubstance wrote:If the Internet is the same as Dwarfcraft's "Bear" pedal (which I believe I read somewhere), it's 2 LPB-1-based boosters in a row, and the second stompswitch ("Pron") adds in a 3rd.
The Shiva is also three LPB1s in a row.
Rick FrequencyCentral also has a fuzz based off cascaded LPB1s can't find the layout/thread for that atm.

I read somewhere that Z-Vex's dirt designs are all variously cascaded SHOs.

definately warm and bassy at low volumes..I love this pedal and would highly recommend it. I use it in one band at low gain volumes and it gets a nice warm vintage sound. In another band I use it cranked and it sounds amazing that way as well. It has essentially kicked my vintage rat off the board

box of rock is 2 SHOs.
they're not all like that, but he uses the SHO in a LOT of his pedals.
nothing wrong with cascading boosters, though sometimes some selective filtering/clipping between stages and/or varying gain/bias/etc of stages helps to get a better sound than simply slamming one into the next, all ass to ass like.
although that works really well sometimes, too!

bwahahahahah, not really.
Story of the Shiva:
I made 3 LPBs in a row, and swapped out parts and added shit until it sounded like the end of the world. There's a pretty faithfull LPB to start the circuit, but thereafter it is quite different.
The INternet is exactly three LPBs with a switch to skip/include the middle booster. The idea being that your overall volume wouldnt go up too much when punching in for more gain.
