Monolith cabs

The 415-RFL has me drooling but there isn't even a picture on their site, so I guess if you were seriously interested it'd be best to shoot the guy an email...

Anyway I haven't found much info on them at all. They seem badass. Does anyone have experience with them?

Jared from the Melvins uses them, so they must rule balls.

As cool as these are, and I'd love to have one or three, the power ratings/watts is kinda low.

you could get them unloaded and put higher-rated speakers in. those do seem awfully low wattage for bass cabinets, especially nowadays when they're selling bass heads in the MF catalog that put out 2400W/channel in stereo.

I have played the Loadstone and its pretty righteous.

Hello! We are working on improving the site: sound samples, pics,etc... This is a process which takes some time. We are preparing for NAMM this year with Verellen Amps. Verellen and I are merging two of our products to make a single rig. The MEAT SMOKE and the BLKARM are going to be paired together and sold as a set. Pretty stoked here! As far as the TECTONIC SHIFT is concerned we are thinking of possibly discontinuing this product. Why? Well , it is a lot of work to build and with the cab orders coming in we are pretty tied up with most of that right now, the SHIFT is really a time consuming product to make all by hand. You are correct in stating the SHIFT is a Superfuzz and Green Russian Big Muff in one box. We have taken the internal bias pot and moved it to the outside of the enclosure so now you have complete control over the unit without having to open up the box. The unit is set up so the SF side feeds into the Muff side, this allows for more sustain of of the SF. I think we only have 4 or 5 of the plates to build the SHIFT left, so they may be gone before you know it.

If you have any questions at all, please contact us through the site!

They are sexy. I wish they were offering 2x10/1x15. Someone has gotta make that thing soon! It'd please with their aesthetic.

Well, that's entirely possible...still dialing in the frequency calculations but so far, the pair matches pretty dead on.

Alright, see I heard that if you were to match two different speaker sizes you'd have to isolate the speakers from each other since the vibration frequencies are different and would null out a lot of tone. I also felt that it might be the same person that'd say a three saddle tele bridge sounds better than the six saddle.

So that's a legit than? Hm, I'm curious to hear the tonal difference, because once I read this I decided I could never build it.

If you ever decide you wanna make one...send me a quote.
