i was expecting a lot from this pedal, but after todays rehearsal i'm kinda... slightly disappointed. Yeah, i found a decent sound, but i didn't like it very much on it's own, i loved it when it was feeding my amp or feeding Catalinbread DLS... OR FEEDING BOTH OF THEM... Holy harmonics, batman - the feedback was so controllable and so pleasant
the main issue is i have a feeling there is some kind of clean blend in the sound... don't like it when it comes to fuzz. Have you experienced this? Also i have a feeling it didn't cut through the band very well
anyway i was thinking... and don't kill me! but could it be because i didn't put it in the beginning of my signal chain? Is there a drastic change in a sound when there are other effects before it? I didn't have... space on my board to put it before wah and i didn't have the time for figuring out how to do it
TGD does not like non true bypass pedals in front of it. I did however get sone cool sounds out of it putting a dark boost in front THis was discussed in depth on dwarfcrafts forum

well my Crybaby isn't TB, at least i don't know about it... so... shame on me
tomorrow i'm gigging, but the next day i'll rebuild my pedalboard... there has to be a way how to put something before the crybaby... i just have to place... everything... differently
Messing around with the order of your pedals can change the sound drastically. It's good every once in a while to shuffle things about and see what happens
Strangely enough on certain settings with my TGD it did sound like there was a clean blend of some sort present, but then on others it's ballsy wall of fuzz, so I definitely know what you mean. It just takes some messing with, as far as settings and pedal placement goes. Good luck to you sir in your quest to tame TGD.
Yeah, I pretty much kept mine with the knobs all the way up all the time. And, pertaining to oscillation, you'll just have to deal with it. I mean, why else did you get a TGD if not to have something completely unpredictable?

good point i'm just not used to not having control over the sound coming from my speakers
