modulation: your thoughts on a few pedals

I am intersted in procuring a pedal that can go from chorus to more extreme seasick waver and as many points in between as possible.

Pedals I am pondering:

Eqd sea machine
Dr scientist cosmichorus
Snazzy wow and flutter
Midfi pitch pirate
Seppukku mindwarp

Anything else I should consider?

EHX Stereo Electric Mistress or just buy alot of inexpensive chorus pedals and turn them all on at once!

Multiple chorus rocks esp. if you do a series/parallel set up.

Also phase/rotovibe in parallel sent to two amps.

I like that idea.

I am also wanting to try out a feedbaack loop with chorus.

The pitchpirate just goes off the deep end with the pitch bent vibrato thing. Awesome.
The seamachine gets crazy (perhaps not as much so), but has a unique slapback/reverb quality with the dimension knob and the animate/wave knobs are also pretty novel. Jamie has a real ear for adding features/knobs that aren't traditionally found on certain effects.

...but if you want a do-all chorus that also does some flanging/vibrato/seasick the cosmichorus is your pedal.
It doesn't get as crazy as the others, but it's just so lush/warm/thick/madeupadjective.
As far as straight up chorus goes, it is unmatched.

I've been playing around with my Polychorus and it can get extremely wobbly really fast. It is more of a flanger overall, but there are some sweet chorus tones in there.

If you have a JC 120 you could run a stereo chorus pedal into it's stereo inputs and then another chorus into the front of the amp.

Sea Machine is digital. I've already got a first generation Disaster Transport and it will do some interesting modulation sounds and I am guessing I would like it with the other features it would have that the DT wouldn't.

Cosmichorus is analog. I was reading in the D. Scientist forum that a strong signal will clip the cosmichorus....figuring on putting it after dirt I am wondering if people have noticed this and found it to be a problem at all.
