Anybody combine analog gear with computer processing?

Post by dorfmeister »

I am wondering if anyone is combining analog gear with computer processing from programs like MAX/MSP , Plogue Bidule, etc.

When we record, there's a lot of extra tone shaping & VST modding done in Digital Performer. But not live... not yet, anyhow...

i think Native Instruments guitar rig 3 sounds pretty decent actually, but i still front it with all my pedals. Using Reaktor 5 as an processor is fun too. :omg:

Anybody using Max/Msp or Pure Data around here.

I am just getting into this along with the Processing language.

This seems like a subject that needs an update. I've got Max/msp but have really gone away from thinking about processing my guitar with computer programs.
