I just said mixtape because it was the closest thing to what I was asking for (Merriam Webster defines mixtape as: a compilation of songs recorded (as onto a cassette tape or a CD) from various sources) and it sounds nicer then saying "give me a list of 10 songs to listen to from various bands you think I might like"

I wasn't trying to be critical of you for using this commonplace term (and I apologize if I came across as insulting), I was just venting my dislike for the term being applied to anything besides a tape (and you're not the only person who uses it, so I wasn't trying to make you feel bad for it)... I understand I'm surely in the minority, giving a fuck about such things as well... I am an old fart at heart (RHYME!). I don't even own a cellphone. I don't need one... and I hate those too!!!
