I love my MIM Jazz bass, pickups and all. At the same time I like everything Peavey, I have a T-60 guitar and would love 10 more, and a T-40 bass to go with them. A used MIM J-bass should cost no more than $250.

yeah peavey t-40
they are REALY heavy and have bad neck dive but they sound great :thumb:

Another novel idea: find out the closest school where they teach people to build music instruments, and try to get a student to build You one for his Degree examinaton work.
