Somehow I just got really into the sound of this pedal. My initial fuzz quest was to find something to complement my OCD but as a fuzz. Dynamic and pick-sensitive. I thought a fuzz face was for me, but I am into new territories and I feel that they have been worn, so after landing a Fuzz Probe and an Ab-synth I never recovered. Lost forever down the rabbit hole. How far down I'll go I do not know.

Anyone have any experience with the builder or pedals? The Mini-Bone may help me get back on track if it indeed sounds as cool as I think...although Mini-boner would be even more ideal.

No experience with the builder, but I've heard good things. The mini bone sounds sick!

I tried to email Paul Trombetta a while back and so far no response...although his email address is a little..different..so maybe I typed it wrong

Yeah, different indeed. I emailed him last night and he got back to me. There's a Bone Machine (Mini-bone Deluxe) for 20 bucks more that has the tones of both pedals "and more". Has an extra knob and toggle switch for presence. I'd like to see a video first. Says it takes a month from payment.

Here's another video of pedal being engaged and nothing but volume being adjusted. There's a few others that have the same approach and the ranch of sounds is ridiculous.

So far I own three Paul Trombetta pedals: A Mini-Bone, a Double Fudge and a Tromboner.

I really love each pedal. Each one has its own sonic properties.

PT's pedals have a unique quality that puts a smile on my face, every time I plug them in.
Only a very few pedals achieve this.

Build quality is great, they seem to be made for gigging musicians.
Painting quality could be better. Painted pedals get chips easily, even when treated with care.
I therefor prefer his brushed aluminum stuff.

There is one important aspect of the pedals which potential buyers should keep in mind:
The pedals take over your pickups/guitar and amp. The Mini-Bone sounds like a Mini-Bone regardless of what you play with or through.

Sold! That's legit. I really wish it would oscillate but he said not possible so I gotta keep either my fuzz probe or velcroscillator.

Mini-Bone fanatic here, can't get over the way it cleans up. Love the really greasy gross sounds.

Its pretty absurd how much ground it covers in a small box. Once I sell my stuff I'm getting it.

Yes it is, because Kayzer used mine :-)

FWIW as far as I know only two Double Fudges (combining a Fudge Buddy and a Velvet Fudge) were built. But the new Fudge should cover the same ground.

The funny thing about Kayzer's demo is the fact that he used it completly different from everyone else.

IMO the Fudge is intended to give you a very liquid siroupy lead sound giving your single notes an almost high gain sound.
But playing chords with it works great as the video shows. Its a creative way of turning Beauty into a Beast.

Just got the Bone Machine I ordered from Paul. Will play it tonight.

Anyone have any thoughts or insights into the pedals based on the "Fudge" circuit? How is it different than the "Bone" circuit?

Anyone played the Tornita or Feedersludge? I believe these are both based on "Fudge"?
