That looks like way more cool for your money for $150.

I'd like to see them do something similar as a midi controller.

i think someone somewhere is or already has hacked the monotron for midi, but its like all japanese motherfuckers so no one really knows how they did it (if i remember correctly)....its pretty cool tho that korg is being pretty open and seemingly onboard w/ all the homebrew/hacks that ppl have been doin to the monotron....maybe they will come out w/ a monotron plus or a super monotron in the future as like a more full featured lil guy.
