I hate to be a Debby Downer, but it just seems way to cheap for what it is. :idk:

I was just discussing the purpose of double necks yesterday. Still perplexed.

I really want that double neck but would likely never use it as I would like...and could probably not afford it :/

Yeah...it would really only be to fuel my Boris love. I'm not cool enough to pull that off, though.

If you click on his shop you can see that he also sells...

Can stand the mastering of that song.

Being a bass player that plays a lot of guitar, I could use one sooo badly.

the thing which would make me hesitant is that the fret jobs and the hardware on those look absolutely awful, especially on the Fender-esque example. that Steinberger copy is pretty sexy, though, at least from a couple of feet away.

back in 1972, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, i saw Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band...i was 14. i had a friend who was also 14, and was the most advanced human i've ever known; at that age his favorite musical artists were Beefheart, Cecil Taylor, and Harry Partsch! he insisted that i go see Beefheart with him, and needless to say it was remarkable. at one point in the set--yes, i'm now tying this to the topic--Winged Eel Fingerling had a solo feature where he played "Alice In Blunderland" on a doubleneck guitar/bass, playing contrapuntally on both necks by hammering on the strings.
