Flower Electronics Vacuum Fuzz

Post by phantasmagorovich »

Has anyone played this? I'm thinking about grabbing one on my weekend in Berlin but I can't find clips and I might not be able to give it a proper try, cause it's at a synthie store and I won't drag all my stuff to Berlin just to check out a Fuzz. ...

No I won't
I love Mission of Burma though and I suppose it's a clone of a custom fuzz the guitarist uses. At least that one's called Vacuum Fuzz too.
Opinions? Clips? Encouragement to buy it no matter what my wife says?

For the most part, I've heard good things about Flower Electronics, although I can't speak to the vacuum fuzz as I don't know anyone who has used it. What synth store in Berlin? I live there, and am always looking for new gear stores. Is it Schneiders Buero?

Yup, the one.

Thanks for the find, Miesgjah. That pretty much cancelled my gas for this pedal. Even though I might still go and try it with my own hands and listen to it with my own ears now I know that Schneiders Büro isn't top priority for the few days I'm staying there.

Thanks all!

Well, to each his own.. :idk:

Personally I think that sounds pretty awesome
I guess I've always liked those sort of garage-y 60's-flavored fuzzes

I definitely still want to try it. But the excitement is gone. I thought I had a wunderwaffe at hands and it's not. At least not for me.
